Are you or someone you care for Gender Diverse to any extent? Do you live in New Brunswick, Canada and want to be as informed as you can be when it comes to health, wellness, and community? You're in the right place then. Glad to have you. The site's called Non-Binary in New Brunswick because it was too perfect of a name to not use, but this is for anyone under the trans* umbrella: transwomen, transmen, non-binary, agender, bigender, anyone who sees themselves reflected here. There's information for intersex folks too! All of you should be informed about the care you deserve so you can be the best and healthiest version of you. With that said...
This is the main feature of the site. As someone learning how to improve healthcare accessibility, it's frustrating how often "that doesn't exist" or "more information is needed" or "not enough research" kept happening in regards to finding 2SLGBTQIA+ care. That's unacceptable, and sparked the question of "Okay, so what does exist?" To answer that the New Brunswick Gender Inclusive Care Research Assistant was created. It's a database that covers individual aspects of care while including the supporting research for the cited guidelines. Gender Inclusive Care doesn't begin and end with HRT & reassignment surgery; it has to be encompassing. The Assistant will be an evolving and improving resource.
Social Media isn't the main focus of NB in NB, but there is an Instagram page you can follow.
